Great product, easy to learn and use Sep 23, 2009
By C. A. Kimber I'm thrilled with this product. I've never used a CAD program before, but this was really easy to learn and use. I just needed something to design a deck to submit for a permit then build ourselves. I didn't want to spend a lot for such a limited need but I didn't want to make drawings by hand. This looked like it would fit the bill. It didn't take long at all to get going and everything seemed intuitive. I kept finding more and more great features and kept refining my drawings. I'm not a professional, but did have 1 semester of architectural drafting in high school. That was a long, long time ago, but I remembered the basics, so I understood what I was trying to do. This program was definitely worth every cent!!

Long Time User Sep 12, 2008
By momo380 I have been using DesignCad since they were in Pryor, OK. I enjoy the product. The only real flaw I can say has disturbed me is the training disks are very mediocre at best. They are especially weak in their 3D tutorial presentation.

Activation Nov 10, 2009
By Ralph A. Mitchell
"Retired"
I purchased this software and could not find an "Activation Code" or "Serial Number" anywhere. I also could not contact the company. There was no information that could hlep me. The only way I could start the program was with the trial version. It has now expired and I am left with no software that I paid for.

By Bill Rodgers Product is so-so. Overly complex, poor to no instructions. Poor customer support. I would NOT buy again.
